Karl Lagerfeld’s Estate | Succession Karl Lagerfeld

Karl Lagerfeld needs no introduction. His passing in February 2019 saddened the fashion world, a world Lagerfeld revolutionised and guided for decades, and he left behind an unparalleled legacy.

Sotheby’s pay homage to the late designer with an offering of over 1000 lots from his homes in France and Monaco. The estate sales showcase Lagerfeld’s personal taste, his life, and his glittering career, throughout which he amassed a treasure trove of books, furniture and decorative arts. The sale will also include personal items such as self-portraits, bowls adorned with the image of his beloved cat Choupette, his 3 Rolls Royce cars and the iconic leather Mitaines that he was rarely seen without.
